Amber fell in love with the art of belly dancing in 1997. She had no idea that when she took her very first belly dance class that it would shape her future as a performer. After holding a veil in her hands for the very first time, her passion for this dance was undeniable. She continued to go to weekly classes and workshops that were taught by some of the best and well known belly dance teachers in the world. Amber was able to develop an amazing blend of technique from Egyptian, to Cabaret to Ghawazi style and soon became one of the most sought after dancers in Tampa, Florida. Amber moved to Los Angeles in 2002 and since has created a name for her self by performing at many local restaurants, clubs and special events. She has also been hired in music videos, prints ads and numerous TV shows. Amber’s performances are beautifully enchanting and mysterious. She has not trained in other dance styles so she can devote 100% into the authenticity of belly dance. She is skilled in veil, zills, candles, sword and cane and has traveled to Egypt to further study this art and culture. Amber continues to train in belly dance but now focuses on taking her object balancing skills to a whole new and unknown level by blending traditional techniques with contortion and acrobatics. She has created a one of a kind circus belly dance act and performs with a local circus troupe. Amber plans to push her dance and circus work further and explore more ways to leave her audience with an unforgettable experience. |
